Letter to Carl Rove

Dear Mr. Rove~

Why haven't you learned that there are just things that you do not do, that some things are inherently wrong? Outing a CIA officer for political revenge is one of them. Just because someone doesn't say what you want them to doesn't give you carte blanche to destroy their wives livelihood. I will make you the same offer that I accorded Mr. Libby. Let me know what minimum security prison you will be attending and I will make sure that you get little love notes from me.

Adoringly Yours,
Political Vandal

Cowardice in Indonesia

Read This!

Dear Terrorists~
You fucking cowards! Beheading three teenaged girls in the name of whatever stupid doctrine you believe in will not assure your way into whatever heaven you think you are going to. This is just a blatant act of terrorism. I hope that some day twelve heavily armed men make sure that you die in the same terrifying, agonizing, excuciating way! You six men are COWARDS who haven't an iota of compassion or tolerance. Pick on someone you own size!

I hope you burn in hell,
Political Vandal

Here are some more people that are going straight to hell:

Who would want to kill a priest? This man was my best friends priest whenever she attened Mass in TJ. This gentle caring man said Mass for my bestfriends Grandfather. It is just such a horrible crime that requires justice.

Once again, I hope you burn in hell,

Political Vandal

To: Scooter Libby

Mr. Libby~
I think I see bars in your future. With you coloring you should do well in institutional orange. Don't forget to let me know what inmate number you are at whatever minimum security prison you will be attending, I shall like to send you a love note or two. Thank you for helping to bring down the not-so-Grand Old Party. Your place in history is assured.

Fondly~
Political Vandal

Format

I do believe that I shall dedicate the majority of my posts in the form of open letters. Not that anyone is reading now, but this message shall someday go down in history.

Open Letter to Dee Snider

Mr. Snider,

First of all allow me to tell you that I am a big fan of your music. I have no clue as to what your political affiliation is, but I have an idea. I propose that you allow the much fragmented Democratic Party the use of your music and lyrics. I propose that in order to get a fighting mentality back to the Party. I propose that the Democratic Party be allowed the use of you lyrics for “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” If not those lyrics maybe “Wake Up (The Sleeping Giant.)”?

For those loyal lemmings out there who may have never heard of Twisted Sister or either anthem, here are the lyrics.

We’re Not Gonna Take it

Oh We're Not Gonna Take It
no, We Ain't Gonna Take It
oh We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore

we've Got The Right To Choose And
there Ain't No Way We'll Lose It
this Is Our Life, This Is Our Song
we'll Fight The Powers That Be Just
don't Pick Our Destiny 'cause
you Don't Know Us, You Don't Belong

oh We're Not Gonna Take It
no, We Ain't Gonna Take It
oh We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore

oh You're So Condescending
your Gall Is Never Ending
we Don't Want Nothin', Not A Thing From You
your Life Is Trite And Jaded
boring And Confiscated
if That's Your Best, Your Best Won't Do

oh.....................
oh.....................
we're Right/yeah
we're Free/yeah
we'll Fight/yeah
you'll See/yeah

oh We're Not Gonna Take It
no, We Ain't Gonna Take It
oh We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore

oh We're Not Gonna Take It
no, We Ain't Gonna Take It
oh We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore
no Way!

oh.....................
oh.....................
we're Right/yeah
we're Free/yeah
we'll Fight/yeah
you'll See/yeah

we're Not Gonna Take It
no, We Ain't Gonna Take It
we're Not Gonna Take It Anymore

we're Not Gonna Take It, No!
no, We Ain't Gonna Take It
we're Not Gonna Take It Anymore

just You Try And Make Us
we're Not Gonna Take It
come On
no, We Ain't Gonna Take It
you're All Worthless And Weak
we're Not Gonna Take It Anymore
now Drop And Give Me Twenty
we're Not Gonna Take It
a pledge Pin
no, We Ain't Gonna Take It
on your Uniform
we're Not Gonna Take It Anymore

Gather 'round us, join with the band
Together we're stronger, together we'll stand
Say what can you do, well, we've got a plan
And we're gonna take you to the promised land

It's time to remember, it's time to move on
They've pushed it too far, they don't know what they've done
If it's a fight that they want then it's a fight that they'll get
We never lose, honey so place your bets

Long ago and far away
We had a voice, you know that we had a say
We won't live for yesterday
Ready or not, we're gonna have our way

CHORUS:

We got the numbers, yeah, we got the might
We got the strength and we got the right
We got the reason, yeah, we got the night
So wake up the sleeping giant

Not one more minute, not one more day
We've waited too long, can't let our chance slip away
We won't stop 'til we get it, we won't stop 'til we're done
We'll bite and we'll claw until they've lost and we've won

We took all we're gonna take
It's got to stop, you know there's too much at stake
Who the hell are they to say
What we can do and how we can play

REPEAT CHORUS

Whoa
Wake up the sleeping giant
Whoa
Wake up the sleeping giant

Let's push to the limit, so let's push 'til we're home
We've been good too long, they wouldn't leave us alone
It's our rights they're abusing, it's our right to fight back
So rally the troops and let's start the attack

REPEAT CHORUS

Whoa
We got the numbers, you know we got the might
Whoa
Wake up the sleeping giant
Whoa
We got the reason and we're ready to fight
Whoa
Wake up the sleeping giant

Sincerely,

A Devoted Fan and Political Vandal

Open Letter to President Bush...

Dear President Bush,

Okay. I think I get it. You name Ms. Miers as your choice for the Supreme Court. Nevermind the fact that she has NEVER sat as a judge before. Then I do not understand why I am spending so much time and money on a higher education. If I say that I am qualified to authenticate artpieces, then I am. Hey wait! I AM a brain surgeon!

Text Books...

What a scandal! The text book comapnies just love jacking students with the high costs of books. My major is one of the more expensive (art history) while I am definately one of the poorer students. How are we to afford the books we need for our classes? Just as an example: My French book cost $116.00 for the text book and $65.00 for the Wprkbook (required). The book was supposed to last for three semesters. But the next semester they changed over to another edition! So... I had to shell out $125.00 for the new book and $75.00 for the workbook (still required)! And the previous edition has absolutely NO sell-back value for the school. I suppose I could sell it on something like half.com or even eBay, but that is time consuming. THIS IS A MESS and it MUST be worked out so that textbooks are not so expensive. I love school, but it's driving me into the poorhouse (in which education is supposed to be the magic bullet to kill poverty). Now if I could only stay in school long enough to get the degree in order to pay some of those student loans off. What a terrible cycle. More later....

Say a Little Prayer....

Dear God,

Please stop taking to President Bush.

Thank you.

Rocky Starts...

It is really quite difficult to decide what I wish to write about. I have many thoughts and concerns about the Miers nomination, the abuse of power that Rove insists upon on a frequent basis, and the continual arrogance of President Bush.

For a man who is under so much scrutiny, President Bush has shown an amazing array of arrogance. He snickers at the camera (i.e. at us). He takes for granted fragile relationships that have taken years to forge. The globe is a plaything for him. He hasn’t the first friggen clue about ‘average Americans’ whatsoever. Ask him how much a gallon of milk costs, or a loaf of bread and he would have to convene herd of meetings to find out. (For god sake, he has told average Americans to drive less because of the price of gas but hasn't the courage to take the necessary steps that would lessen our country's dependence on foreign fuel. Wait, he doesn’t want to move forward with any type of renewable fuel source period!) It has always amazed me that Republicans and Conservatives always cry for smaller government and controlled spending? Then why are they the first to want to lead the government, why do they want the first to spend the money (typically in the form of tax credits and cuts to the most environmentally unfriendly and corrupt corporations on the entire planet)? Yeah, he really is my moral better.

First Post

Greetings and Salutations my little lemmings. Welcome to the New World. Welcome to MY world. I hope that this blog will be a source of catharsis for me as I have much to vent about when it comes to the current regime… errr reign… errr White House Occupant.

I am unabashedly and hopelessly LIBERAL and a proud DEMOCRAT. So give me a little bit to get up and going before you spank me or try to hurt my feelings. I do not take criticism well, but suggestions might be helpful.
